13 Cornish Ghost Stories, with Joanne Ella Parsons and Marie Macniell

A chance conversation, at the Haunted Landscapes Conference at Falmouth University in 2023, sparked the idea that became 13 Cornish Ghost Stories. Joanna Ella Parsons and Marie Macneill, contributors and co-editors of the book, will talk about the inspiration behind this eclectic and haunting mix of brand-new ghost stories set all over Cornwall. And how they convinced some of the best-known contemporary Cornish writers – including some LitFest regulars – to take a punt on their book. As well as a short reading from 13 Cornish Ghost Stories, there’ll be an opportunity to share your own real-life ghostly encounters.
