Event Description

Drawing on decades of excavating shipwrecks, renowned maritime archaeologist and bestselling author David Gibbins will take you on a voyage aboard a Bronze Age ship built during the age of Queen Nefertiti, on a Viking warship and Henry VIII’s spectacular Mary Rose or exploring the Arctic. But this is more than a tale about the fate of the ships, it’s the story of how they carried people and ideas around the world and is still relevant today.

This event is held at The Acorn Theatre.
