A Winter MIND Variety Show

Event Description

It’s the season for giving and we’re giving you the gift of an all-round variety show. Come and enjoy some of the best music and dance acts that Penzance has to offer.

Some acts you will know well, and others are new to the scene. This will be a night to remember!

Raising money for a charity that supports those who are suffering from poor mental health, in their hour of need. This is your chance to show your support and help us raise awareness. All profits will be donated to Mind.

Our performers include Oscar Brown – singer-songwriter from St. Ives performing acoustic covers and original songs, Lockwood Urban Dance and Theatre School’s advanced lyrical group, Abbey Thomas – talented musician with a passion for modernising traditional folk songs, Clare Brighton – lyrical dance soloist, using dance to explore the effects of mental health on the body,   True Foxes – an up and coming americana/folk duo, who combine breathtaking harmonies and soulful songwriting to create a haunting atmosphere, Lockwood Urban Studios – Lyrical dancers performing their most recent piece, Louella Jade Eke –  daydreamer, americana songstress and Cornish maid, and to finish up the evening we have The Sandy Acre 7 – a lively seven piece band that will have you tapping your toes and singing along with more variety than any other band you know!
