Event Description
Having appeared on MasterChef and written six cook books, Orlando Murrin knows about the pitfalls of kitchens: teeming with lethal weapons and people who turn into psychopaths if someone opens the oven door at the wrong moment. His début novel, Knife Skills for Beginners, is set in a posh but shabby-round-the-edges cookery school in London’s Belgravia. The school is imaginary, but the somewhat eccentric students, who are there to learn the finer points of haute cuisine, are as real as some that Orlando has encountered. Stand by for a grisly murder, how to make the perfect shortcrust and silky hollandaise, six killer recipes and clues to ‘whodunnit’…
This event is held at The Acorn Theatre.
