Cornish Celtic Musicians’ Maserclasses – Neil Davey: Bouzouki, Mandolin, Mandola, Guitar, Ukulele
Sunday 22nd September 2019
1:30 pm - 4:00 pm
Neil Davey and his brothers kick-started the revival in Cornish traditional music in the 1970s, and he went on to play with countless others in the Celtic scene including internationally acclaimed Dalla and mostly recently Davey&Dyer. Neil has toured world-wide, championing Celtic music. A prolific composer, performer and educator, he has been a guest lecturer and led workshops for numerous events.
These sessions will be tailored to your individual skill level and designed to give you an opportunity to learn some brilliant Cornish tunes and techniques specific to playing Celtic music.
Later, participants will join Skillywidden on stage as part of the evening performance for an extravaganza of music moment!
This is a rare opportunity to get some focused time with members of the band before joining them on stage – there are limited slots available so don’t miss out!
You will need to book as soon as possible so that you can be contacted before your Masterclass.
One class is to be held in the main auditorium and the other in the bar downstairs for both am and pm sessions.
The following sessions are available for this workshop, 1 person per slot. Please select the time you wish to attend after you press the buy ticket link.
