Sunday 22nd September 2019
10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Hilary Coleman is a musician, teacher and researcher in Cornish music. Hilary co-founded several bands including Dalla and Skillywidden, which have toured extensively and recorded several albums. Currently, the music director of the choir, Red River Singers, Hilary is in great demand as a choir leader for projects in Cornwall. Hilary’s work has been recognised through numerous awards for her published books.
These sessions will be tailored to your individual skill level and designed to give you an opportunity to learn some brilliant Cornish tunes and techniques specific to playing Celtic music.
Later, participants will join Skillywidden on stage as part of the evening performance for an extravaganza of music moment!
This is a rare opportunity to get some focused time with members of the band before joining them on stage – there are limited slots available so don’t miss out!
You will need to book as soon as possible so that you can be contacted before your Masterclass.
One class is to be held in the main auditorium and the other in the bar downstairs for both am and pm sessions.
The following sessions are available for this workshop, 1 person per slot. Please select the time you wish to attend when you press the ticket link.
