Event Description

Beth Lynch’s new book, The Cove: A Cornish Haunting, about her 50-years+ relationship with a cove, is a lyrical meditation: at once, both the memoir of a revenant and an ode to Cornwall. Her previous book, Where the Hornbeam Grows, attracted glowing reviews, and this memoir, which will be published (and available) during this year’s LitFest, will not disappoint. In Lost to the Sea, Lisa Woollett takes us on a coastal journey around the edges of Britain and Ireland to reveal how the sea has forged, shaped and often overwhelmed these landscapes and communities. Fans of the book include Raynor Winn, Philip Hoare and Wyl Menmuir.

This event is held at The Exchange.
