Event Description

JollyRoger are a Sea-Punk, folk, band hailing from Penzance but are based in Plymouth. Their high-energy live performances have caused widespread outbreaks of dancing, moshing and having a ruddy good time at an international level, gaining them the coveted ‘Golden Gnome award in September 2022. Under their live performance belts, they have a list of some of the best music festivals in the UK and Europe, including Glastonbury, Boomtown Fair, Boardmasters, Bearded Theory, Lindisfarne Festival and Festival Medieval – Germany. JollyRoger also has had the privilege of supporting popular artists such as The Rumjacks, Ferocious Dog, Fisherman’s Friends and The Wurzells. With one album, four EPs and three singles in their discography, JollyRoger are always looking to hone their sound and release new material, supporting the description given to them as ‘the hardest working band in the south-west

JollyRoger are coming home to celebrate the 4th year anniversary of the start of their ridiculous Piratical journey and are bringing some mates with them to help make the night special!

“FMI Clatters” is up first. Folk-loving, solo shantying, glasses-wearing machine of a man who JollyRoger met the first ever time they performed live together at an open mic night in Plymouth!

“Bicycle Repair Man” are up next, they are a Devon-based acoustic duo who don’t mend bicycles, only broken hearts. Playing toe-tapping tunes to entertain you. JollyRoger met these fine chaps whilst supporting one of our favourite Plymouth bands “Mad Dog Mcrea” and haven’t been able to get rid of them since!

These smelly pirates and their supremely talented friends will give you the night of your lives!!

All for Jolly and Jolly for All.
