Mordros Sea Poetry, with Mor Poets

Poetry Please!

‘Mordros’ is Cornish for ‘sound of the sea’. This is poetry to dip your toes into: drift away on an ocean of words and surf upon curving waves. Come along to hear the Mor Poets – an all-women group from Cornwall – perform their sea poetry. They’ve spoken to sea swimmers, chatted to surfers, and built sandcastles alongside kids on beaches. Now they’d love to share the poetry that this has inspired. Listen to Ella Walsworth-Bell, Kate Barden, Fi Read, Hannah Temme, Abigail Ottley and Polly Roberts – and the sound of the sea.
