RAINBOW RISING

Formed in 1998, Rainbow Rising are the longest running dedicated tribute to Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow. In true Rainbow tradition (!), the line up has undergone many changes since being formed! The current line up has been consistent for the last 5 years and has been cited as the best and most accurate of all. Rainbow Rising perform all the classics from early Dio years, through Graham Bonnet and up to Joe Lynn Turner eras.

DEEPEST PURPLE

Originally formed in 2002, Deepest Purple were renowned throughout the UK for the accuracy and delivery of Mk 2 and Mk 3 Purple classics. Upon meeting the band in 2003, Roger Glover famously stated: “You probably play the songs better than we do!” (Thanks Rog!). Deepest Purple took a hiatus for a few years in the early 2010s but has since been reformed by original members Neil Priddey (guitar) and Kev McGillian (vocals) to create, once again, the most accurate and authentic sounding Purple tribute in the UK. Deepest Purple and Rainbow Rising perform regularly as a double header show.
