Richard Trevithick’s Grand Adventure in Latin America, with Joel Griffett

For writer and historian Joel Griffett, his research into legendary Cornish inventor Richard Trevithick’s life was still missing one piece of the puzzle: his eleven-year adventure across Latin America. Joel’s fascination took him on his own adventures as he followed in Trevithick’s footsteps – and that of other intrepid Cornishmen – in Peru and Costa Rica in search of lost documents and maps. Joel recorded his journey in Long Road to Nowhere: The Lost Years of Richard Trevithick (Part One) and will share some of Trevithick’s experiences as a diver, sailor, arms dealer and explorer of Central American jungles and rivers.
