Event Description

‘Kafka crossed with Flann O’Brien’ is how The Independent described Rob Magnuson Smith’s last book, Scorper. His debut novel, The Gravedigger, won the Pirate’s Alley William Faulkner Award. His latest, defined as a genre-bending existential drama, Seaweed Rising, has as its hero Manfred, an amateur seaweed collector, who is convinced that algae are taking over the human race. Come and listen to Rob talk about the ideas that prompted him to write Seaweed Rising and see what you think.

This event is held at Penlee Coach House.
