Penzance Folk Club, in association with Penzance LitFest, presents GHOSTS, WEREWOLVES AND COUNTRYFOLK: THE SONGS AND STORIES OF SABINE BARING-GOULD WITH JIM CAUSLEY, MIRANDA SYKES & JOHN PALMER AT THE ACORN.
Six-time BBC Folk Award nominee Jim Causley and Miranda Sykes from the award-winning Show of Hands and Daphne’s Flight celebrate the centenary of Victorian superstar and Westcountry resident Sabine Baring-Gould, interweaving songs he collected with stories from his bestselling books about ghosts, werewolves, Norse myths and countryfolk. Jim and Miranda are joined by acclaimed narrator John Palmer for an entertaining show that will have you singing, gasping and smiling.
