Tom Hingley, former lead singer with Inspiral Carpets, sang on all the band’s major label albums and hit singles. ‘This is How it Feels’, ‘Saturn Five’ ‘Dragging Me Down’ are a few.

Tom performs solo or with one of two bands: ‘Tom Hingley plays Inspiral Carpets’ and ‘Mackay Hingley’ (with his ex-Too much Texas schoolmate Gordon Mackay).

Tom released his new solo album The Grand Mal this autumn. This year sees him sharing the stage with Peter Hook and The Light in Newcastle on April 13; supporting OCS, Embrace, Cast and Ash over the summer; and Black Grape in Birmingham in December.

Acoustically Tom presents a mix of Inspiral’s classics, originals and mean Blues slide guitar, served up with some jokes and the best singing you are going to hear this year.
